Australian Employer Sponsored Visa

Employer Sponsored Visas allow skilled overseas workers to live and work in Australia for a nominating Australian employer.

The Employer Sponsored Nomination stream allows Australian Employers to fill skilled job vacancies in their organisation (that cannot be filled by workers in the local Australian market) with overseas workers.

Visa applicants must be qualified or have sufficient experience in an occupation listed on the Consolidated Skilled Occupations List (CSOL) to be sponsored by an Australian employer.

Australian Skilled Migration is an international recruitment specialist. Our team of expert Registered Migration Agents can assist with any employer sponsored visa, in any eligible industry.

The Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) visa is for skilled workers who are not sponsored. Sponsorships can be from employers, a state or territory, or a family member, but they are not necessary for this category. This is a permanent residency visa, meaning the applicant can live and work in Australia permanently and eventually have the option for citizenship.

The visa is a Permanent Resident Visa. It does not require you to work in regional Australia. However, it does require skills assessment by the relevant Australian authority and 3-years of work experience.

We specialise in three types of Employer Sponsored Visas:
  • Temporary Work Subclass 457 Visa
  • Permanent Subclass 186 Visa (ENS)
